We leave the parking of the municipal sports centre and start the route crossing the road to take Miquel Martí Pol Street. Always on the left sidewalk we take the first junction on the left where begins a dirt road right next to greenhouses intended for the cultivation of the orchard. Here we find the royal road and a few meters later we cross the Onyar river by a concrete bridge and we go to the south, crossing fields and fruit trees. Without leaving the main road we find the Bugantó, a river that collects its waters from the massif of the Gavarres. Without crossing it we turn to the left and we will follow the river course of the Bugantó.
Immersed in a riverside environment, we pass near the Selvà farmhouse until we find the road again. Here we turn left heading towards Fornells on the paved road. We go up a small climb passing by the farmhouses of Ca l’Estrac de l’Alzina, on the left, and from Can Xiberta, on the right.
Shortly after starting the descent we take the paved road to the right and we immediately pass on the side of Can Mai, on the left. At this point we will have a magnificent view over the Onyar valley and the village of Fornells de la Selva, with the Pyrenees in the background. We will pass by the side of the Mas Civils i de Ca l’Amargant, both at the right side of the road, and just before we enter a beautiful forest of oaks and holm oaks we will see the Mas Pou on the left, in the middle of fields. After 300 meters of wooded road we arrive at the road that leaves Fornells in Llambilles, and we will turn to the left and pass by the side of the Mas Mallorquinet.
We will now start a small descent that will take us into the agricultural plan of the Onyar. On the left we can see the Mas Pou and on the right, higher on a hill, we can see Cal Rellotger and Can Ferrando. Continuing along the paved road we pass on the side of the Casa Nova de Ferrando and we find the Pitch & Putt. We continue until we find the bridge over the Onyar River. Immediately we take a dirt road to the left that follows the course of the river, and on the right we leave Mas Molí (old mill of the region). We continue along the path until we return to the starting point.
