We start walking in the Plaça Nova de Raset, cervia de Ter neighborhood. On our left is the large house of Can Santamaria. As a curiosity we will tell you that it is the place where the poet Antonio Machado spent the nights of the days of January 23 to 26, 1939 on the way to exile.
We keep going up a path to get to the Arriba neighborhood. Once we step on asphalt, we have to do a few meters to the right to take the dirt road that leaves to the left. We pass by the in front of the hermitage of Santo Roc, after a descent we will find a place often embalmed and is that we cross the riera de la Cinyana. Just then we find a main road and follow it to the left. In the head of about a kilometer, we leave one breaking to the left that door in the farmhouse of Bellver and we continue, with a slight descent and in forest, until we find the remains of the mill located next to the river of Cinyana. Start a wide road climb, we pass by a farm and we will have already reached Viladasens.
If we want to take a walk, we will have to turn left in the direction of the village, where the first thing we find will be the cemetery. To continue the route, but, we have to leave the village of Viladasens behind and start to go down the track that first passes between crops and then makes a stretch in the middle of the forest. Shortly after leaving the forest stretch, we find the Viladasens road that you have to cross to continue the road that leaves right before us and that it goes to the right. In the first cross where we can doubt, we have to take the path on the right that goes next to the Cinyana route and that soon after allows us to cross it and reach the road that we had already crossed before. Before us, passing the road, we go along the track, leave a farm on our left and soon after, we have to turn right if we do not want to make the whole route again. By this point we will have already passed and we will pass by the side of the hermitage of Sant Roc and we will be again in Raset.
This route, in some section, coincides with the route of the Camino de Santiago. It is worth to make a visit to the village of Cervià de Ter, with the magnificent monastery of Santa Maria, the viewpoint of the Castell and the streets with medieval airs that will transport you in other times.
